Quick Detachable Clutch Lever
Purdue University agricultural engineers modified a Case 1290 tractor with a Quick Detachable Clutch Lever, constructed of 1-inch square tubing. An angle iron welded at the end of the tubing hooks securely onto the clutch pedal shank. To disengage the clutch, the lever is pushed downward. To lock the clutch in the disengaged position, a pivoting latch rod at the upper end of the lever can be inserted through a hole drilled in the seat platform. The lever is easily and quickly attached without tools and removed by just lifting it up and sliding it off the pedal.
