Monarch Electric Autonomous Tractor
Monarch Electric Autonomous Tractor in a field towing a John Deere bush hog mower

Utilizing artificial-intelligence (AI), the Monarch Electric Autonomous Tractor (known as the MK-V) is equipped with 3-D cameras and sensors that allow it to be operated with or without a driver. Its AI capabilities also collect data that analyze crop health/performance and various other management-related functions, plus activate safety practices (e.g.. collision prevention, PTO protection, and human detection). The machine, which has nine forward and three reverse gears, reportedly puts out 40 continuous and 70 peak horsepower, will work up to 10 hours on a single charge according to the manufacturer, and produces zero emissions as well as being quiet. The MK-V is especially well-suited for smaller-scale farm and specialty-crop enterprises and for operators with disabilities.
