Lift Stand for Smaller Livestock
A goat with its head secured standing on a blue Lift Stand for Smaller Livestock out in a field

A scissors-type Lift Stand for Smaller Livestock can elevate animals up to around 21/2 feet, which enables one to hoof-trim, dehorn, medicate, etc., at a more comfortable level rather than having to bend down or assume an awkward position in order to do so. This stand consists of a deck (side rails optional), adjustable headrest, caster wheels, and hand-operated lift jack or hydraulic cylinder to raise/lower. (Although generally used for show-grooming, this type of lift stand can serve adequately for the above purposes.)

Estimated Cost Cost range: $595-$790
