Machinery Mover
Machinery Mover

Also known as a machinery skate, cargo trolley, or roller skid, a Machinery Mover is used to transport (either by hand or horsepower) heavy pieces of equipment, machinery, appliances, palleted cargo, etc. from one location to another in a shop, storage building, home, etc. Depending on the version and rated carrying capacity, the all-steel device measures from 12 to 20 inches long by 8 inches wide by 5 inches high, has four to 12 cast iron rollers/casters, and a 360º rotating plate on top. Once centered under the item, which is first jacked-up then lowered onto the mover, transporting is accomplished by pushing the item itself or by pulling the Mover via tow-bar (an optional accessory). The rotating plate allows the cargo to be positioned as desired before off-loading.
